Klassic Louisiana Catering is a women-owned, limited-liability corporation founded in June 2011 by Carolyn Cappo and Lori Stevens. The 2010 Deepwater Horizon oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico created an extreme need for catering services off the coast of Louisiana. Rick Cappo and Kevin Stevens, operations managers for Klassic Louisiana Catering, served 40,138 meals in a five month period. After receiving rave reviews by the BP administration, Klassic completed their assignment and moved to Eagle Ford Play in Carrizo Springs, TX; where they catered for two years serving more than 35,000 meals to various fracking and service companies.
With just one trailer & truck, Klassic's three-person crew consisting of Kevin, Lori and one additional employee, moved to Midland Texas in June of 2013. In a short time, Klassic quadrupled their sales, increased their equipment to five trucks & trailer setups, added kitchens in Midland and Pecos Texas and an additional 12 employees were hired.
Klassic is currently serving 500 delicious meals per day to several fracking companies.
